The posting

Voor een bedrijf in Boom, actief binnen de voedingssector, zijn we op zoek naar een Operationeel Inkoper Verpakkingsmateriaal. In deze functie zorg je ervoor dat de productie steeds over de juiste verpakkingsmaterialen beschikt. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de operationele aankoop, planning en opvolging van een breed assortiment aan verpakkingen. Daarbij vorm je de belangrijke schakel tussen aankoop, voorraadbeheer, productie en supply chain. Jouw takenpakket omvat onder andere:

  • Plaatsen, verwerken en opvolgen van bestellingen voor verpakkingsmaterialen.
  • Bewaken van de beschikbaarheid en ervoor zorgen dat materialen tijdig worden geleverd.

Beheren en optimaliseren van de voorraadniveaus op korte en middellange termijn.

  • Opvolgen van minimumvoorraden en bestelparameters.

Opstellen van forecasts en analyseren van toekomstige behoeften.

  • Bewaken van levertermijnen en tijdig signaleren van mogelijke tekorten.

Zoeken naar alternatieve materialen of leveranciers wanneer dat nodig is.

  • Onderhouden van dagelijkse contacten met binnen- en buitenlandse leveranciers.
  • Opvolgen en evalueren van leveranciersprestaties op vlak van prijs, kwaliteit en levering.
  • Ondersteunen bij het beheer en de opvolging van aankoopcontracten.
  • Detecteren van risico's en structurele oorzaken van voorraadproblemen.
  • Signaleren en opvolgen van prijs-, kwaliteits- en leveringsafwijkingen.
  • Meedenken over duurzame verpakkingsoplossingen en verbeteringen binnen het aankoopproces.

Nauw samenwerken met collega's van onder andere Supply Chain, Logistiek, Productie, Kwaliteit, Marketing en Commercie. Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand die analytisch en nauwkeurig werkt, maar tegelijkertijd communicatief sterk is en gemakkelijk relaties opbouwt met leveranciers en collega's. Je beschikt over:

Een bachelordiploma of gelijkwaardige ervaring binnen aankoop, supply chain of een commerciële omgeving.

Bij voorkeur een eerste relevante ervaring binnen aankoop of voorraadbeheer.

Een sterk analytisch vermogen en affiniteit met cijfers en data.

  • Een zeer goede kennis van Excel en andere MS Office-toepassingen.
  • Een nauwkeurige en gestructureerde manier van werken.
  • Het vermogen om prioriteiten te stellen en het overzicht te bewaren.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden.

Een proactieve en oplossingsgerichte ingesteldheid.

Een uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands en een goede kennis van het Engels. Ervaring of affiniteit met verpakkingsmaterialen, FMCG, groenten en fruit of retail is een pluspunt. Ook kennis van bijvoorbeeld kunststoffolies, karton, labels of duurzame verpakkingsoplossingen is mooi meegenomen.
