Operationeel Event Medewerker

Van een strak georganiseerde meeting tot een spetterend bedrijfsfeest of een onvergetelijk trouwfeest: jij zorgt ervoor dat alles klopt.

Bij COLONIE 7 draait het om beleving. In onze historische setting ontvangen we dagelijks gasten voor meetings, congressen, bedrijfsfeesten, trouwfeesten, private events en overnachtingen in ons hotel.

Om ons eventteam te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar een operationeel event medewerker die energie krijgt van organiseren, aanpakken en ervoor zorgen dat een event van A tot Z vlot verloopt.

Jouw rol

Als operationeel event medewerker ben jij de persoon op de vloer die ervoor zorgt dat de plannen werkelijkheid worden.

Je werkt nauw samen met onze event- en zaalverantwoordelijken en bent mee verantwoordelijk voor de praktische uitvoering van onze events.

Je taken zijn onder andere:

  • Je bereidt de eventruimtes praktisch voor: zaalopstelling, tafels, stoelen, materialen, decoratie en audiovisueel materiaal.
  • Je ontvangt groepen en zorgt ervoor dat gasten zich meteen welkom voelen.
  • Tijdens meetings, congressen en events ben je het operationele aanspreekpunt op de vloer.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat timing, service en afspraken correct worden opgevolgd.
  • Je schakelt snel wanneer er iets verandert of onverwacht gebeurt.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met keuken, zaal, hotel en eventteam.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat pauzes, lunches, recepties, diners en andere eventmomenten vlot verlopen.
  • Na afloop zorg je mee voor de afbouw en een correcte oplevering van de ruimtes.
  • Je signaleert praktische problemen en denkt mee in oplossingen.
  • Je helpt mee om onze eventwerking elke dag een beetje beter te maken.

Wie ben jij?

We zoeken vooral iemand die graag de handen uit de mouwen steekt en verantwoordelijkheid neemt.

Je:

  • hebt een eerste ervaring in hospitality, events, horeca of een gelijkaardige operationele functie;
  • bent organisatorisch sterk en houdt ervan wanneer alles netjes geregeld is;
  • blijft rustig wanneer het druk wordt en kunt snel schakelen;
  • hebt oog voor detail, maar verliest het grotere plaatje niet uit het oog;
  • bent gastvrij en communicatief;
  • bent flexibel ingesteld en begrijpt dat events vaak 's avonds en in het weekend plaatsvinden;
  • werkt graag samen, maar kunt ook zelfstandig je verantwoordelijkheid nemen;
  • bent praktisch ingesteld: niet te veel praten, vooral doen;
  • hebt een professionele uitstraling en een natuurlijke feeling voor hospitality.

Ervaring met events is mooi meegenomen, maar de juiste ingesteldheid, verantwoordelijkheidszin en goesting zijn voor ons minstens even belangrijk.
