En misschien bij de RET nog wel het meest. Daarom doen wij er alles aan om het openbaar vervoer in Rotterdam soepel te laten verlopen. Een storing in de metro, extra bussen inzetten en de trams op tijd laten rijden. Als Operationeel Teammanager Verkeersleiding heb je er dagelijks mee te maken. Als Teamleider Verkeersleiding bij de RET draag je een grote verantwoordelijkheid voor het oplossen van alle calamiteiten die zich voordoen in het openbaar vervoer van Rotterdam, samen met je team. Of het nu gaat om het snel oplossen van problemen of het coördineren van crisissituaties, je bent altijd paraat. Jouw toekomstige team vind je op de afdeling Centrale Verkeersleiding. De CVL is gevestigd aan de Nautastraat en de Kleiweg in Rotterdam. Je geeft operationeel leiding aan de gehele afdeling en vakinhoudelijk aan je eigen team. Jij bewaakt als Operationeel Teammanager Verkeersleiding de kwaliteit van het regiecentrum en optimaliseert de communicatie tussen de verschillende functiegebieden op de werkvloer en daar buiten. Als regisseur ben jij verantwoordelijk voor alle vervoersprocessen op de weg en rail, de veiligheid en de informatie naar reizigers toe. De afdeling Centrale Verkeersleiding van de RET speelt een cruciale rol in het beheer en de coördinatie van de vervoersprocessen van de metro, bus en tram in Rotterdam. Deze afdeling opereert 24 uur per dag, 365 dagen per jaar en houdt constant toezicht op de dienstregeling. Tijdens verstoringen of incidenten grijpt de CVL snel in om het vervoer weer op gang te brengen, met speciale aandacht voor het verstrekken van duidelijke en adequate informatie aan reizigers.
