The posting

Voor een internationale onderneming binnen de automotive sector zijn we op zoek naar een Operations Buyer. In deze functie ondersteun je de operationele werking op vlak van aankoop en ben je het aanspreekpunt voor externe leveranciers.

Je werkt nauw samen met verschillende interne afdelingen en ondersteunt daarnaast de verdere uitrol van aankoopstrategieën en optimalisaties.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Opvolgen en beheren van indirecte aankopen binnen de productiesite;
  • Implementeren van regionale aankoopcontracten en onderhandelen met leveranciers;
  • Commerciële activiteiten opvolgen bij engineering changes die impact hebben op productieonderdelen;
  • Ondersteunen van Category Management bij aankoopstrategieën en kostenoptimalisaties;
  • Leveranciers opvolgen op vlak van kwaliteit, kost en levering;
  • Meewerken aan de evaluatie en scorecards van leveranciers;
  • Fungeren als eerste aanspreekpunt en escalatiepunt bij problemen met externe leveranciers;
  • Opvolgen van prijzen in het ERP-systeem en zorgen voor correcte prijsupdates gedurende de productlevenscyclus;
  • Samenwerken met onder andere Maintenance, Material Planning, Quality, Finance, Sales en Commodity Management;
  • Ongeveer 20% van de tijd reizen in functie van leveranciers en de job.
  • Je beschikt over een technisch of economisch diploma en hebt een sterke technische interesse, of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring;
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur 1 tot 3 jaar ervaring in internationale aankoop, idealiter binnen de automotive sector;
  • Ervaring met technische producten is een sterke troef;
  • Je bent sterk in onderhandelen en communiceren;
  • Je bent resultaatgericht, oplossingsgericht en kan goed omgaan met deadlines en druk;
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Excel, PowerPoint en Business Intelligence-tools;
  • Je hebt een basiskennis van commerciële contracten;
  • Kennis van ISO 9001, IATF 16949 en VDA 6.3 is een pluspunt;
  • Je hebt inzicht in productieprocessen en bent in staat technische informatie te interpreteren en analyseren;
  • Je spreekt vlot Engels; kennis van andere talen is een pluspunt;
  • Je bent klantgericht, nauwkeurig en organisatorisch sterk.
