The posting

Voor een groeiende logistieke onderneming in regio Willebroek zoeken we een Operations Coördinator. Geen klassieke leidinggevende functie, maar wel een centrale rol in de dagelijkse operatie. Jij houdt het overzicht, stemt mensen en activiteiten op elkaar af en zorgt dat het werk vooruitgaat.

Wat ga je doen?

Je bent de verbindende schakel tussen administratie, planning en de collega's op de werkvloer.

  • Coördineren van de dagelijkse personeels-, transport- en scheepsplanning
  • Bewaken van de operationele flow en bijsturen waar nodig
  • Opvolgen van import- en exportdossiers
  • Organiseren van stockcontroles en bewaken van een correcte voorraadregistratie
  • Afstemmen met klanten, transporteurs en externe partners
  • Knelpunten signaleren en praktische verbeteringen voorstellen
  • Regelmatig aanwezig zijn op de terminal om te weten wat er speelt

Je stuurt niet hiërarchisch een team aan, maar krijgt wel een belangrijke coördinerende verantwoordelijkheid. Collega's rekenen op jou om prioriteiten te bewaken, informatie samen te brengen en ervoor te zorgen dat iedereen weet wat er moet gebeuren.

Je hebt ervaring binnen logistiek, transport, warehousing of terminalactiviteiten en begrijpt hoe een operationele omgeving werkt. Ervaring met planning, voorraadbeheer en WMS- of ERP-systemen is belangrijk.

Daarnaast communiceer je vlot in het Nederlands en kan je professioneel schakelen in Engels en Frans.

Dit is geen omgeving waarin voor iedere situatie een procedure of stappenplan klaarligt. Daarom zoeken we iemand die zelf structuur kan creëren in een omgeving waar die niet altijd vanzelf aanwezig is.

Je bent hands-on, staat stevig in je schoenen en wacht niet tot iemand zegt wat er moet gebeuren. Je stelt prioriteiten, spreekt collega's aan wanneer dat nodig is en lost problemen liefst praktisch op.

Geen baas vanop afstand, maar een sterke coördinator die tussen de mensen staat en ervoor zorgt dat de operatie draait.
