Design Group biedt jou met deze rol als Interim Operations Director per direct een functie waarin je strategisch en tactisch verantwoordelijk bent voor alle operationele activiteiten (productie, techniek, inkoop, supply chain). Je geeft input voor en mede sturing aan de algehele bedrijfsstrategie en de daaruit voortkomende doelstellingen. Je bewaakt, kortom, samen met je MT collega's het rendement van het bedrijf. Operational Excellence is daarbij jouw tweede natuur: vanuit een commerciële blik werk je met je team aan het effectiever en efficiënter maken van alle processen en aan het optimaliseren van de supply chain. Een specifieke uitdaging bij een seizoenbedrijf als Design Group is daarbij het soepel op- en afschalen in het hoogseizoen. Je geeft leiding aan een team van ca. 135 medewerkers. Zij zijn samen verantwoordelijk voor de productie van cadeaupapier en displays; het beheer van 60.000 m² productie- en opslagcapaciteit en de opslag en het transport van 70.000 pallets per jaar. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor alle technische zaken incl. gebouwenbeheer. Vanuit een heldere visie op operations stuur je op duurzame en winstgevende groei.
