Ben jij een gedreven professional met ervaring in operations en logistiek? Voor een toonaangevend logistiek bedrijf in Zeebrugge zijn wij op zoek naar een Operations Manager die onze operaties naar een hoger niveau kan tillen.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden?

  • Operationele afspraken maken met externe transportleveranciers en onderaannemers om optimale samenwerking te waarborgen.
  • Toezicht houden op de kwaliteit van de transportdienstverlening en zorgen voor een uitstekende klanttevredenheid.
  • Marges per markt en per klant analyseren om strategische beslissingen te onderbouwen.
  • Zorgen voor efficiënte combinaties van ladingen en lossingen, waarbij lege kilometers worden vermeden.
  • Advies geven bij het inkopen van scheepsroutes, slots en railverbindingen, met oog voor naleving van transportregelgeving.
  • Collega's recruiten, trainen en beoordelen en een productieve werkomgeving creëren.
  • Nauw samenwerken met managers van diverse afdelingen om synergie en efficiëntie te bevorderen.
  • Wekelijks rapporteren over risico's en knelpunten om proactief in te spelen op mogelijke uitdagingen.

Must haves

  • Je bent in het bezit van een masterdiploma en hebt minimum 5 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare rol in de transportsector
  • Je hebt ervaring met het aansturen van een team van een vijftiental personen
  • Je hebt een sterk analytisch vermogen
