Onze klant is een gevestigde speler op het gebied van milieudienstverlening en afvalverwerking in de ruime regio van Zandvliet. Met hun gespecialiseerde installaties ontzorgen zij industriële en logistieke klanten bij het inzamelen, transporteren en milieuvriendelijk verwerken van uiteenlopende afvalstromen. Om de geplande pensioenering van een vaste waarde op te vangen en het team klaar te stomen voor de toekomst, zijn we op zoek naar een enthousiaste 'young potential' met een gezonde dosis ambitie.

In deze rol als Operations Manager Maritieme Chemie ben je de verbindende schakel tussen de planning, de administratie en de werkvloer. Je leert de operationele processen van A tot Z kennen, stelt de transportplanningen op en zorgt dat de wettelijke milieudocumenten tot in de puntjes kloppen. In nauwe samenwerking met de Operations Manager stuur je het team aan en bouw je stapsgewijs aan jouw eigen doorgroeipad naar een leidinggevende functie op managementniveau.

Functieomschrijving

  • Inplannen van inkomende en uitgaande transporten via vrachtwagens en schepen, in nauwe afstemming met externe transporteurs en verwerkers.
  • Waarborgen van een correcte administratie van alle wettelijke transportdocumenten, afvalstoffenregisters en Intrastat-meldingen.
  • Opvolgen van de operationele processen rond olieverwerking in nauwe samenwerking met de Operations Manager.
  • Beheren van de afdelingskosten, inclusief de aankoop van verbruiksgoederen en transportdiensten en het controleren van facturen.

Profiel

  • Je beschikt over een diploma als Bio-ingenieur of Industrieel Ingenieur (Chemie/technisch) of een gelijkwaardige Professionele Bachelor.
  • Je bent een leergierige 'young potential' met de ambitie en het potentieel om op termijn door te groeien naar een leidinggevende rol op managementniveau.
  • Je hebt een sterke affiniteit met IT-systemen, kijkt graag naar data en bent gedreven om administratieve processen slimmer en efficiënter te maken.
  • Collega's omschrijven jou als een vlotte communicator, een organisatorisch talent en iemand die graag tussen de mensen op de werkvloer staat.
