Onze opdrachtgever is een internationale speler gespecialiseerd in hoogwaardige logistieke dienstverlening en transportoplossingen. Met ongeveer 230 medewerkers in België en een netwerk van operationele vestigingen maakt de organisatie deel uit van een wereldwijd concern dat actief is in meer dan twintig landen en een leidende positie bekleedt binnen haar nichemarkt.

Jobomschrijving

  • Volledige operationele en financiële verantwoordelijkheid (P&L) voor de vestiging in Gent
  • Leiden, coachen en ontwikkelen van een team van 50-tal operationele medewerkers en een ondersteunende afdeling
  • Optimaliseren van personeelsplanning, transportcapaciteit en inzet van een gespecialiseerde voertuigenvloot
  • Waarborgen van veiligheid, kwaliteit, compliance en de correcte toepassing van procedures binnen een streng gereguleerde omgeving
  • Beheer van het depot, de infrastructuur en het materieel, inclusief fleet, onderhoud en technische conformiteit
  • Opvolgen van KPI's, rapportering en implementeren van verbeteracties gericht op efficiëntie en rendabiliteit
  • Onderhouden van professionele relaties met strategische klanten en bewaken van een hoge klanttevredenheid
  • Bachelor of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Minstens 5 jaar leidinggevende ervaring binnen operations, logistiek, transport of een vergelijkbare operationele omgeving
  • Sterke people manager met een coachende, empathische en communicatieve leiderschapsstijl
  • Analytisch sterk en vertrouwd met KPI-sturing, budgetbeheer en operationele rapportering
  • Uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands en zeer goede kennis van het Engels
  • Ervaring met stakeholdermanagement en customer relationship management
  • Hands-on ingesteld, besluitvaardig en in staat om operationele uitdagingen pragmatisch aan te pakken
