SEA-Tank Terminal, is een sterk groeiend tankopslagbedrijf in een internationale omgeving en is o.a. actief in de haven van Gent & Antwerpen. Wij zijn gespecialiseerd in de opslag van liquide goederen en logistieke afhandeling voor derden.

Voor onze terminals in Antwerpen (rechteroever) of Gent zijn wij op zoek naar een gedreven Operations Manager.

Jouw functie

Als Operations Manager ondersteun je de SEA-Tank terminals in Antwerpen rechteroever en Gent in functie van de noden.

Je neemt een actieve rol op in specifieke opdrachten en projecten op de verschillende terminals. Omdat iedere terminal andere noden en optimalisaties kent, word je ingezet waar jouw expertise het meest nodig is. Je bent bovendien verantwoordelijk voor het opvangen van afwezigheden van collega‑operationsmanagers, zodat de operationele activiteiten op alle terminals veilig en efficiënt blijven doorgaan.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de operationele opvolging en coaching van verschillende ploegen die instaan voor het laden en lossen van schepen, treinen en trucks, het beheer van operationele werkvergunningen, het naleven van veiligheidsprocedures, housekeeping en het veilig in‑ en uitdienststellen van installaties. Het correct opvolgen, coachen en bijsturen van deze teams vormt jouw hoofdactiviteit.

Je werkt nauw samen met de terminal managers, operations managers, planners, fieldsupervisors, quantity controllers en de maintenance supervisors. Samen zorgen jullie voor een optimale logistieke flow, een goede afstemming van onderhoud en een continue operationele efficiëntie.

Tot slot speel je als operations manager een belangrijke rol in het bepalen van opleidingsnoden in je team en het evalueren & opvolgen van je medewerkers. Deze functie vereist dat je de werkinstructies up-to-date houdt en de operators op de hoogte brengt van nieuwe of aangepaste instructies. Je maakt gebruik van Ultimo als tool voor het aanmaken en opvolgen van de werktaken, checklijsten, alsook voor de input van storingen, e.d. Ten allen tijde is één van je grootste drijfveren dat je medewerkers in een veilige werkomgeving kunnen opereren en na hun werkdag gezond & wel naar huis kunnen.

Je zal rapporteren aan chief operations en de betrokken terminal manager waar je je opdracht uitvoert.

  • Een hogere opleiding in technische of maritieme wetenschappen;
  • Minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een leidinggevende rol;
  • Je hebt ervaring in de (petro)chemische sector of alleszins in de opslag van vloeibare producten;
  • Kennis van SEVESO- wetgeving en handig met ERP- systemen;
  • Een stevige portie natuurlijk leiderschap waarbij je de klemtoon legt op het positief coachen en bijsturen van je team;
  • Je vindt het evident om te participeren in de wachtdienst op deze terminal;
  • Geavanceerde MS Office kennis en vloeiend gesproken/geschreven Engels;
  • Stressbestendig, zelfstandig, dynamisch en betrouwbaar.
