De functie inhoud Wat je gaat doen als Operations Officer:

  • Instaan voor de volledige technische en operationele voorbereiding van nationale en internationale interventies.
  • Coördineren van projecten waarbij snelheid, veiligheid en kwaliteit steeds centraal staan.
  • Technische en operationele beslissingen nemen die bijdragen aan een succesvolle uitvoering van iedere interventie.
  • Complexe technische situaties analyseren en op basis daarvan de juiste acties bepalen.
  • Vooruitdenken en mogelijke operationele problemen identificeren voordat deze een impact hebben op de uitvoering.
  • Meerdere complexe dossiers tegelijkertijd beheren en daarbij steeds het overzicht en de juiste prioriteiten bewaren.
  • Afstemmen met klanten, technische specialisten en verschillende internationale betrokken partijen.
  • Zorgen voor een duidelijke en professionele communicatie tijdens iedere fase van een interventie.
  • Operationele teams wereldwijd ondersteunen en ervoor zorgen dat zij over de juiste informatie beschikken.
  • Snel schakelen wanneer onverwachte situaties optreden en zelfstandig tot passende oplossingen komen.
  • Binnen een beurtrol ook buiten de normale werkuren beschikbaar zijn om internationale teams en klanten te ondersteunen.

Je werkt nauw samen met hooggespecialiseerde professionals in een omgeving waar verantwoordelijkheid, autonomie en oplossingsgericht denken essentieel zijn. Wie jij bent als Operations Officer:

  • Ervaring binnen een technisch-maritieme omgeving is een absolute vereiste.
  • Uitstekende technische kennis van de scheepvaart en het vermogen om complexe technische situaties snel te begrijpen.
  • Sterk technisch en ruimtelijk voorstellingsvermogen, ook wanneer interventies zich op grote afstand afspelen.
  • Uitgesproken organisatorisch talent en in staat om meerdere complexe projecten gelijktijdig te coördineren.
  • Analytisch sterk en goed in het inschatten en voorkomen van mogelijke problemen.
  • Groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en comfortabel met het zelfstandig nemen van belangrijke beslissingen.
  • Stressbestendig en in staat om ook onder tijdsdruk het overzicht te bewaren.
  • Communicatief sterk en vlot in het verwerken en overbrengen van technische en operationele informatie.
  • Proactieve en oplossingsgerichte werkhouding waarbij je voortdurend vooruitdenkt.
  • Vloeiende mondelinge en schriftelijke kennis van het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Flexibel ingesteld en bereid om binnen een beurtrol buiten de reguliere werkuren ondersteuning te bieden.
