Voor een toonaangevend bedrijf in de Belgische schuimverwerkingsindustrie zoeken we een operator snijlijn. Deze werkgever levert op maat gemaakte schuimoplossingen aan een loyale B2B-klantenportefeuille. Je komt terecht in een organisatie waar kwaliteit, efficiëntie en stiptheid centraal staan, en waar er nauw wordt samengewerkt met betrouwbare leveranciers.

De productie-eenheid in de regio Kortrijk telt een 100-tal medewerkers en werkt met hoogwaardige schuimmaterialen voor uiteenlopende toepassingen. Als onafhankelijke verwerker (converter) denken ze actief mee met hun klanten, vaak al vanaf het R&D-stadium. Duurzaam produceren is een prioriteit: de productie is gericht op energie-efficiëntie en een zo klein mogelijke ecologische voetafdruk.

In de sector staat dit bedrijf bekend als dé specialist in schuimverwerking, met sterke focus op maatwerk, partnerschap en lange termijnrelaties. Je komt terecht in een hechte ploeg, waar je samen met twee collega’s verantwoordelijk bent voor twee snijlijnen. Binnenkort schakelt het bedrijf volledig over op digitale productieopvolging, een proces waarin je actief wordt meegenomen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Jij stelt de snijlijn zelf correct in, vertrekkende van schuimrubber in blokformaat naar platen, die nadien CNC verwerkt worden
  • Je zorgt voor een nauwkeurige afstelling, zodat het snijproces vlot en foutloos verloopt
  • Je werkt samen met twee collega’s om twee snijlijnen te bemannen, waarbij jullie elkaar vlot afwisselen en ondersteunen
  • Af en toe bevoorraad je je eigen machine, waarvoor een heftruck wordt gebruikt
  • Je werkt voorlopig nog met papieren instructies, maar helpt actief mee aan de overschakeling naar digitale systemen
  • Kwaliteit staat centraal: je hebt een scherp oog voor detail en werkt steeds gecontroleerd en precies
  • Je hebt een technische achtergrond, bij voorkeur in hout- of metaalbewerking
  • Een heftruckattest is een pluspunt, of je bent bereid dit te behalen via opleiding
  • Engels beheersen is cruciaal om instructies en veiligheidsvoorschriften goed te begrijpen
