The posting

Je start je dag samen met je collega’s wanneer de vrachtwagens met afvalstoffen toekomen. Jullie zorgen voor het veilig uitladen, sorteren en verpakken van de chemische afvalstoffen in de juiste containers, altijd volgens de geldende wetgeving. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het correct herconditioneren en herverpakken van goederen.

Af en toe ga je met de bestelwagen langs bij klanten om de aanwezige afvalstoffen te inventariseren. Dit zorgt voor de nodige afwisseling in je job. Je krijgt een grondige opleiding zodat je ook deel kan uitmaken van het interventieteam. Dit team wordt opgeroepen bij incidenten met gevaarlijke producten en werkt vaak samen met de lokale brandweer. Gemiddeld ben je één week om de zes weken 24/7 beschikbaar voor interventies.

Ben jij iemand die graag de handen uit de mouwen steekt en nauwkeurig werkt? Heb je zin om te groeien in een boeiende sector? Solliciteer dan zeker voor deze functie!

  • Je hebt minstens ASO of TSO niveau
  • Ervaring met laden en lossen van (gevaarlijke) afvalstoffen is een pluspunt, maar schoolverlaters zijn welkom
  • Een attest van vorkliftchauffeur of ADR-getuigschrift is een troef
  • Je hebt een rijbewijs B
  • Je bent leergierig, verantwoordelijk en volgt veiligheidsvoorschriften strikt op
  • Je werkt graag zelfstandig, bent flexibel en hebt zin voor humor
  • Je hebt geen probleem met occasioneel weekendwerk (gemiddeld 1 week op 6)
  • Je spreekt, begrijpt en schrijft vlot Nederlands
