ArcelorMittal Wondelgem is onderdeel van Distribution Solutions Benelux (de distributie-divisie van ArcelorMittal) en is een handelsorganisatie in staal. Producten die oa verhandeld worden zijn balken, stafijzer en platen. Binnen Distribution Solutions Benelux zijn 175 medewerkers werkzaam die verdeeld zijn over 4 vestigingen in de Benelux. Dankzij onze grote voorraadcapaciteit kunnen we onze producten snel leveren en gepersonaliseerde verzoeken in behandeling nemen. Allereerst, dragen we zorg voor de gezondheid, de veiligheid en het welzijn van onze medewerkers. Sinds enkele jaren staat digitalisering centraal in onze strategie. Verder streven wij ernaar om onze sector binnen 2050 koolstofvrij te maken.

Jobomschrijving

Ben jij klaar om je carrière naar een hoger niveau te tillen in de staalindustrie? Wij zoeken een gedreven operator staal voor een uitdagende rol in een dynamische omgeving.

Als operator ben je verantwoordelijk voor het nauwkeurig zagen van orders volgens de werkopdracht. Je zorgt ervoor dat de kwaliteit van het zaagwerk en de goederen gewaarborgd blijft. Het correct gebruik van de machines en rollenbanen behoort tot jouw takenpakket, evenals de administratieve registratie van het zaagwerk. Veiligheid staat voorop, dus het volgen van werk- en veiligheidsinstructies is essentieel. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor het vervangen van het zaagblad wanneer nodig.

  • Je bent gemotiveerd en hebt een sterke werkethiek.
  • Zelfstandig werken is voor jou geen probleem.
  • Werken in een grote hal zonder directe nabijheid van collega's schrikt je niet af.
  • Een rijbewijs CE, rolbrug- of heftruckattest is een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste.
  • Een opleiding in metaal is een extra troef.
  • Beschikbaar om te werken in 2 ploegen.
