Voor een gevestigde en stabiele industriële speler in Duffel zijn wij op zoek naar gemotiveerde Operatoren voor de gieterij-afdeling.

Ben jij iemand die graag fysiek werkt, niet terugschrikt voor intensieve arbeid en energie haalt uit een actieve job? Werk je graag in teamverband en wil je meewerken aan hoogwaardige producten die wereldwijd worden ingezet, onder andere in de automobielsector? Dan is deze functie mogelijk iets voor jou.

Wat houdt de job in?

Als Operator in de gieterij speel je een cruciale rol in het productieproces. Dit is géén zittende of lichte job: je bent voortdurend in beweging en werkt in een warme, industriële omgeving.

Je takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:

Laden van de smeltoven met een heftruck

  • Controleren en voorbereiden van grondstoffen voor het gietproces
  • Nemen en analyseren van staalmonsters in samenwerking met het automatische labo
  • Actief opvolgen van het gietproces en ingrijpen bij afwijkingen
  • Controleren van samenstelling en kwaliteit van het gesmolten metaal
  • Registreren van procesgegevens en rapporteren aan de teamleider
  • Reinigen en onderhouden van gietinstallaties en smeltovens
  • Verwijderen van restanten uit gietbakken na elk gietproces
  • Strikt naleven van veiligheidsvoorschriften en het minimaliseren van contact met vloeibaar aluminium

Wij zoeken geen doorsnee operator, maar iemand die zich bewust is van de fysieke impact van deze job en hier ook mentaal en lichamelijk klaar voor is.

Belangrijkste vereisten:

Uitstekende fysieke conditie

  • Deze job is zeer arbeidsintensief en kan fysiek uitputtend zijn. Je bent lange tijd rechtstaand, voert zware handelingen uit en werkt in warme omstandigheden. Flexibiliteit en bereidheid om te werken in een 4-ploegensysteem
  • Meerdere ploegen in dezelfde week
  • Gemiddeld 2,5 weekends per maand Ervaring als operator is geen vereiste
  • Motivatie, leergierigheid en inzet zijn doorslaggevend Ervaring met de heftruck is gewenst
  • Een geldig attest is een grote troef Zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands
  • Cruciaal voor vlotte samenwerking én veiligheid op de werkvloer
