Je zet mee je schouders onder het volledige logistieke proces dat gevaarlijke afvalstoffen ondergaan.

Een greep uit jouw takenpakket:

  • Je helpt bij het uitladen van vrachtwagens en het sorteren van binnengekomen chemische afvalstoffen in de juiste containers, volledig volgens de huidige regelgeving.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat de goederen opnieuw verpakt worden en klaar gemaakt worden voor verder transport.
  • Af en toe vertrek je met de bestelwagen om bij klanten een inventaris op te maken van aanwezige afvalstoffen.
  • Na een grondige opleiding word je ingeschakeld in het interventieteam dat wordt opgeroepen bij incidenten met gevaarlijke producten en chemicaliën. Hierbij werk je vaak samen met de lokale hulpdiensten.
  • Je draagt zorg voor de orde, netheid en veiligheid in het magazijn en op de werkvloer.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt geen last van astma of claustrofobie, aangezien je werkt met een gasmasker en beschermingsmiddelen.
  • Je hebt geen allergieën voor chemische producten en schrikt er niet voor terug om te werken met chemicaliënpak en handschoenen.
  • Werken in een open magazijn vormt jou ook geen probleem( kouder in de winter, warmer in de zomer).
  • Je hebt technisch inzicht en kunt met diverse pompen en materialen werken.
  • Een attest van de heftruck of ADR- getuigschrift is een pluspunt.
  • Je bent nauwkeurig, leergierig en veiligheidsbewust, met zin voor verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Je bent flexibel ingesteld, je hebt geen 9 to 5 mentaliteit en bent bereid af en toe in het weekend te werken ( ongeveer 1x per maand).
  • Je hebt zelfstandigheid, werklust en een gezonde dosis humor.
  • Bij een vaste contract neem je deel aan de wachtdienst: één week om de 5 a 6 weken ben je 24/7 bereikbaar voor dringende oproepen. Tijdens die week moet je flexibel zijn ( geen etentjes, bioscoop of andere vaste plannen.
