Wil je werken als magazijnoperator voor een vergund milieucentrum (waar vloeibare en vaste afvalstoffen worden opgeslagen en geconditioneerd)?

Hou jij van werken met gevaarlijke producten / afvalstoffen?

Voor het bedrijf dat gespecialiseerd is in onafhankelijk en grensoverschrijdend afvalstoffenbeheer met een nieuwe transportinfrastructuur (een 20-tal eigen vrachtwagens en containers) en een interventiedienst voor calamiteiten met gevaarlijke producten zoeken wij collega's voor onze logistieke dienst te versterken.

Functieomschrijving :

  • Je zet mee je schouders onder het volledige logistieke proces dat gevaarlijke afvalstoffen ondergaan
  • Van zodra de vrachtwagens toekomen, staan jij en je collega’s in voor het uitladen van de producten. Dit houdt onder meer in dat je de binnengekomen chemische afvalstoffen sorteert in de daartoe bestemde containers. Dit doe je uiteraard volgens de geldende wetgeving.
  • Je bent eveneens verantwoordelijk voor het herconditioneren en herverpakken van de goederen.
  • Af en toe word je met de bestelwagen op pad gestuurd om bij onze klanten een inventaris op te maken van de aanwezige afvalstoffen.
  • Na een grondige opleiding word je mee ingeschakeld in ons interventieteam dat wordt opgeroepen in geval van calamiteiten met gevaarlijke producten en chemicaliën. Meestal werk je hier nauw samen met de lokale brandweer.
  • Je hebt minimum een A2 diploma behaald.
  • Als schoolverlater ben je zeker welkom, maar ervaring met het laden en lossen van (gevaarlijke) afvalstoffen is uiteraard een pluspunt.
  • Een attest van vorkliftchauffeur of ADR-getuigschrift maakt van jou de ideale kandidaat.
  • Je schrikt er niet voor terug om de handen uit de mouwen te steken en kunt met diverse pompen werken.
  • Je bent een gedreven en leergierig persoon met verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel, die de veiligheidsvoorschriften strikt naleeft.
  • Je hebt een rijbewijs B
  • Je bent flexibel ingesteld en hebt geen 9-to-5 mentaliteit. Bovendien vind je het niet erg om af en toe (gemiddeld 1 maal per maand) in het weekend te werken.
