In deze functie werk je met verschillende grondstoffen zoals ei, bloem en andere ingrediënten en zorg je ervoor dat het productieproces soepel verloopt. Op basis van de productieplanning stel je de juiste mengsels samen en zorg je ervoor dat deze richting de productielijn gaan. Je start machines op, stelt ze correct in en bouwt de productielijn om wanneer dat nodig is. Tijdens het proces controleer je de voortgang en stuur je bij waar nodig. Daarnaast voer je kwaliteitscontroles uit door middel van metingen en testen en registreer je de productieresultaten. Samen met je collega's zorg je voor een schone, veilige en hygiënische werkomgeving. Je werkt niet standaard in een vaste 2-ploegendienst. In de praktijk betekent dit dat je bijvoorbeeld maar één keer per maand een avonddienst draait. Bij drukte kan het voorkomen dat er tijdelijk in een 3-ploegendienst gewerkt wordt, daarom is flexibiliteit belangrijk.
