Werk jij graag met je handen, maar wil je tegelijk machines leren bedienen die nét wat meer kunnen dan standaard zaagwerk? Heb je oog voor kwaliteit, werk je graag nauwkeurig en zie je jezelf groeien binnen een productieomgeving waar hout centraal staat?

Voor een sterk bedrijf binnen de houtverwerking zoeken we een Operator die graag praktisch werkt en technisch wil bijleren. Deze onderneming maakt kwalitatieve houtproducten en groeide doorheen de jaren uit van een familiaal project tot een moderne productieomgeving met een jong en betrokken team.

Als Operator werk je met houtbewerkingsmachines zoals bovenfreesmachines, schaafmachines en verlijmingsmachines. Je volgt het proces van dichtbij op, controleert de kwaliteit en grijpt in wanneer iets niet loopt zoals het hoort. Geen job waarbij je de hele dag doelloos naast een machine staat, maar een rol waarin jouw precisie en gezond verstand echt meetellen.

Je krijgt opleiding op de werkvloer en leert stap voor stap hoe je machines correct instelt, materialen verwerkt en kleine storingen herkent. Ideaal voor iemand die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt, maar ook de kans wil krijgen om het vak verder onder de knie te krijgen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Operator stel je houtbewerkingsmachines correct in en bedien je onder meer bovenfreesmachines, schaafmachines en verlijmingsmachines
  • Daarnaast verwerk je grondstoffen tot halffabricaten en controleer je nauwkeurig afmetingen, afwerking en kwaliteit
  • Verder voer je manuele taken uit, zoals het aanvoeren en uithalen van planken, zodat de productie vlot blijft lopen
  • Binnen jouw rol volg je de werking van de machines op en grijp je tijdig in bij kleine technische storingen
  • Tot slot zorg je mee voor een nette, veilige en efficiënte werkplek waar kwaliteit altijd voorop blijft staan
  • Ervaring met machinebediening is mooi meegenomen, maar motivatie om het vak aan te leren is minstens even belangrijk
  • Basis technisch inzicht en rekenvaardigheid zijn belangrijk om materiaalverbruik, afmetingen en kwaliteit correct op te volgen; heftruckervaring is een extra troef
  • Nederlands is vereist omwille van veiligheidsvoorschriften, werkinstructies en duidelijke communicatie met collega’s
