Wil jij vanuit je eigen ervaringskennis mee het verschil maken voor kinderen, jongeren, ouders en pleegzorgers? Wil je de leefwereld van mensen in kansarmoede verbinden met de soms complexe systeemwereld van de hulpverlening? En geloof je in de kracht van mensen en in echte participatie?

Pleegzorg Oost-Vlaanderen is op zoek naar een opgeleide ervaringsdeskundige in armoede en sociale uitsluiting.

Als opgeleide ervaringsdeskundige (OED) vorm je een belangrijke brug tussen de leef- en belevingswereld van mensen in kansarmoede en de wereld van pleegzorg en hulpverlening.

Je werkt rechtstreeks met cliënten én ondersteunt collega’s om de verbinding met gezinnen in kansarmoede te versterken. Vanuit jouw ervaringskennis en opleiding help je om drempels zichtbaar te maken, krachten te versterken en hulpverlening toegankelijker en meer participatief te maken.

Je maakt deel uit van een pleegzorgteam en werkt daarnaast nauw samen met de methodiekondersteuner, team- en afdelingsverantwoordelijken en het team Beleid, Innovatie en Samenwerking. Zo draag je niet alleen bij aan de begeleiding van individuele cliënten, maar ook aan de verdere ontwikkeling van ons beleid rond kansarmoede, sociale uitsluiting en ervaringsdeskundigheid.

Je:

  • ondersteunt ouders, pleegkinderen, jongeren, pleeggasten en pleegzorgers vanuit hun noden, vragen en krachten;
  • helpt cliënten hun rechten te benutten en maakt pleegzorg en hulpverlening begrijpelijk;
  • versterkt de verbinding tussen cliënten, begeleiders en andere betrokken diensten;
  • brengt het perspectief en de leefwereld van gezinnen in kansarmoede binnen bij collega’s;
  • ondersteunt collega’s om krachtgericht en armoedevaardig te werken;
  • signaleert structurele noden en draagt bij aan beleid en visie rond kansarmoede, sociale uitsluiting en participatie;
  • neemt deel aan intervisies, lerende netwerken, vormingen en werkgroepen;
  • maakt deel uit van een pleegzorgteam en werkt nauw samen met de methodiekondersteuner en verschillende teams binnen de organisatie.

Als je dit wenst, kan je daarnaast een rolhouderschap opnemen rond een thema dat aansluit bij jouw kennis en interesses, zoals trauma, hechting, loyaliteit, identiteit, inclusie of instroom.

We zoeken iemand die:

  • een opleiding/diploma heeft dat aansluit bij de opdracht
  • kennis heeft van hulpverlening, jeugd- en pleegzorg, kansarmoede en sociale uitsluiting
  • vanuit ervaringskennis verbinding kan maken met verschillende betrokkenen
  • empathisch, authentiek, toegankelijk en inclusief is
  • sterk is in luisteren, verbinden en oplossingsgericht denken
  • openstaat voor zelfreflectie en feedback
  • zelfstandig kan werken én graag samenwerkt
  • gelooft in de kracht van mensen en in volwaardige participatie.
