Jouw dag op onze polikliniek oogziekten

Je start de dag met een vooronderzoek en begeleidt patiënten tijdens hun raadpleging. Tussen visusmetingen, technische onderzoeken en assistentie bij een injectie schakel je vlot tussen nauwkeurigheid, persoonlijk contact en teamwork. Van eerste meting tot gespecialiseerde ondersteuning: jij bent een vaste schakel in de oogzorg van onze patiënten. Hier krijg je de ruimte om te werken in een dynamische omgeving waar kwaliteitsvolle zorg centraal staat, ondersteund door toptechnologie en een hecht team.

Ruimte om te handelen

Als optometrist

  • voer je de vooronderzoeken (autorefractie en pneumotonometrie), visusmeting en refracties uit tijdens de oftalmologische raadpleging;
  • word je ingeschakeld voor het uitvoeren van enkele oftalmologisch technische onderzoeken (gezichtsveld, OCT-onderzoek, non-contact biometrie voor de intraoculaire lenssterktebepaling, orthoptisch onderzoek);
  • bied je assistentie bij intravitreale injecties;
  • werk je nauw samen met collega’s en artsen, steeds onder supervisie van de oogarts.

  • een bachelordiploma, visum en erkenning als optometrist;
  • een professionele attitude waarbij je op een correcte en zorgzame manier omgaat met de verwachtingen van patiënten en collega’s;
  • het vermogen om autonoom te werken en snel te reageren in veranderende omstandigheden;
  • de motivatie om interne en/of externe opleidingen te volgen en je expertise te verdiepen.
