Je start met een cliënt die beginnende Daarna ontvang je iemand voor een eerste aanmeting. Je bespreekt de medische geschiedenis, klachten en dagelijkse activiteiten. Iemand die fanatiek sport, stelt immers andere eisen aan een lens dan iemand die graag vooral zijn tijd aan het bureau doorbrengt. - Samen breng je de hulpvraag in kaart en onderzoek je welke contactlens past. Soms is een aanpassing snel gedaan. Een onregelmatig hoornvlies, een droog oog of een eerdere hoornvliestransplantatie vraagt juist om meer onderzoek. Zo help je de ene cliënt aan comfortabele lenzen om te sporten en kan de andere na een lang medisch traject eindelijk weer beter zien. - Tussen de middag staan er geen cliënten gepland. Je gebruikt die tijd voor administratie, lunch en overleg. Ook wanneer je zelfstandig spreekuur draait, zijn collega's bereikbaar om over een casus mee te denken. - In de middag zie je opnieuw cliënten en stem je af met een oogarts, orthoptist, TOA of leverancier. Je werkt vanuit je eigen expertise samen met de oogarts. Jij beoordeelt wat passend, haalbaar en wenselijk is. - Naast je spreekuur krijg je de mogelijkheid om het vak verder te brengen. Je kunt aansluiten bij een werkgroep, meewerken aan een nieuw protocol of kennis delen via de Visser Academie. Rond 17.00 uur sluit je de deur van je spreekkamer, nada...
