The posting

Kinderkuren is een stedelijke vzw van stad Leuven die in 2011 is gestart met een grootschalig project rond opvang op school.

De ambitie van Kinderkuren is om kwaliteitsvolle en toegankelijke opvang te organiseren voor alle kinderen van 2,5 tot 12 jaar in de Leuvense basisscholen. Dit zowel voor als na schooltijd als op schoolvrije dagen (met uitzondering van schoolvakanties).

Om onze werking te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar 1 gemotiveerde opvangverantwoordelijke voor een contract van bepaalde duur, 65% tewerkstelling van 9/11/2026 tot en met 09/07/2027

Je taken:

Als opvangverantwoordelijke zorg je mee voor de kwalitatieve dagelijkse werking van de opvang, in lijn met de visie en missie van Kinderkuren.

Je geeft leiding aan een team van kinderbegeleiders in één opvanglocatie. Gemiddeld werk je de helft van de tijd op de opvanglocatie. Concreet gaat het om 1 ochtend om de twee weken tussen 7u-8u30 en minstens 3 namiddagen per week tussen 15u30-18u30. De opvanglocatie is gelegen in Leuven, in de school Mater Dei.

Je motiveert en versterkt je team door dicht bij de praktijk te staan. Je vertrekt vanuit de talenten van kinderbegeleiders en helpt hen die talenten in te zetten in het werk met kinderen. Je voert individuele gesprekken, organiseert teamoverleg en coacht kinderbegeleiders zodat ze kunnen groeien in hun job. Daarbij stimuleer je een actieve, speelse en betrokken begeleidershouding.

Je bent het aanspreekpunt bij pedagogische vragen van kinderbegeleiders en kan hiervoor beroep doen op de hulp, ervaring en kennis van collega’s binnen de organisatie. Je ziet een meerwaarde in een inclusieve opvang. Samen met je team zoek je hoe je kinderen met bijzondere zorgbehoeften op een warme en inclusieve manier kan begeleiden.

Je onderhoudt warme contacten met ouders en werkt samen met externe partners zoals het schoolteam, de brugfiguur en organisaties die wekelijks activiteiten organiseren tijdens de opvanguren.

Je zorgt voor een optimale personeelsplanning en houdt de administratie up to date. Denk aan: uurroosters bijwerken, vervangingen zoeken bij ziekte, registraties van kinderen controleren, tijdsregistratie van medewerkers en mailbox opvolgen.

Onze opvanglocaties zijn onderverdeeld in clusters. Samen zorgen jullie voor een warme en goed georganiseerde opvang.

Je hebt verantwoordelijkheidszin en denkt oplossingsgericht.

Je bent administratief sterk en kan goed plannen en organiseren.

Je hebt een inspirerende en enthousiasmerende attitude t.a.v. een divers team van kinderbegeleiders die worden aangenomen volgens het principe ‘motivatie boven diploma’.

Je houdt van werken in teamverband.

Je bent in het bezit van een bachelor- of graduaatsdiploma. Je hebt bij voorkeur een pedagogische achtergrond en affiniteit met (school)kinderen. Leidinggevende ervaring is een pluspunt.

Je vindt het boeiend om te werken in een organisatie die in ontwikkeling is en kan flexibel omgaan met verandering.
