The posting

Als opvoeder/woonbegeleider sta je, samen met jouw collega’s, in voor de dagelijkse zorg en begeleiding van een groep van 10 volwassenen met een licht tot matig verstandelijke beperking:

  • Je ondersteunt mensen in hun persoonlijke groei en het maken van eigen keuzes.
  • Je zorgt voor een veilig thuis met oog voor warmte, huiselijkheid en een gezellige groepssfeer.
  • Je neemt de persoonlijke begeleiding op van één of twee bewoners op alle levensdomeinen (pedagogisch, medisch, kledij, …) en bent de contactpersoon voor zijn/haar netwerk.
  • Je voert met de bewoners en collega’s de huishoudelijke taken uit. Daarnaast neem jij s amen met jouw collega’s ook een aantal administratieve verantwoordelijkheden op.
  • Je werkt samen met je collega’s een zinvol dagaanbod uit op maat van onze gasten waardoor ze gestimuleerd blijven om te bewegen en creatief te zijn.
  • Je werkt in een cyclisch uurrooster met ochtend-, dag- , avond- en weekendwerk en regelmatig een inslapende nacht.

Je hebt k ennis en/of ervaring met de doelgroep en inzicht in de onderliggende dynamieken. Je denkt oplossingsgericht en hebt een proactieve houding. Je kan vlot zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werken. Daarnaast heb je:

· Een diploma opvoeder A1 of A2 of een gelijkwaardig diploma in de sociale sector. Heb je geen passende opleiding, maar wel relevante werkervaring met de zorg voor mensen met een verstandelijke beperking, dan kom je ook in aanmerking.

· Kennis van Office 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive)

· Een rijbewijs B (je kan rijden met een auto met versnellingen) en je spreekt vlot Nederlands
