Onze opdrachtgever betreft een vooraanstaande en financieel gezonde bedrijfsgroep in de regio Wevelgem. Om het succes en de constante groei verder te ondersteunen, zoeken wij een strategisch en operationeel gedreven Packaging Teamleader. Binnen deze organisatie staan innovatie, kwaliteit en een transparante, mensgerichte bedrijfscultuur centraal. Als Packaging Teamleader ben jij de spilfiguur op de verpakkingsafdeling. Je overziet het gehele verpakkingsproces, waarborgt een efficiënte goederenstroom naar de verpakkingslijnen en zorgt dat de eindproducten kwalitatief en verzendklaar worden verwerkt. In deze veelzijdige rol stuur je het verpakkingsteam op de werkvloer aan, bewaak je de planning en breng je de verpakkingsafdeling naar een hoger niveau door continue procesoptimalisatie.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Operationele Coördinatie & Sturing: Je organiseert de dagelijkse werkzaamheden op de verpakkingsafdeling, verdeelt de taken efficiënt over de verschillende verpakkingslijnen en waarborgt dat orders tijdig, veilig en correct worden in- en verpakt.
  • People Management & Coaching: Je bent het directe aanspreekpunt voor de verpakkingsmedewerkers en operators, stimuleert een hechte teamgeest en coacht hen in hun professionele ontwikkeling en veiligheidsbewustzijn.
  • Proces- en Kwaliteitsverbetering: Je analyseert de verpakkingsprocessen, brengt verbetertrajecten in kaart (zoals reductie van stilstanden of verpakkingsafval) en begeleidt het team bij het toepassen van efficiëntere werkmethodes.
  • Ketenafstemming & Materialenbeheer: Je bewaakt de tijde voorraad en aanvoer van verpakkingsmaterialen en stemt operationele uitdagingen proactief af met productie, planning en logistiek.
  • KPI-bewaking: Je volgt kwaliteits-, output- en efficiëntie-indicatoren van de verpakkingslijnen op en stuurt proactief bij waar nodig om afdelingsdoelen te behalen.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Hoger werk- en denkniveau of gelijkwaardig door ervaring binnen een verpakkings-, productie- of logistieke omgeving.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in het aansturen, begeleiden of coördineren van een operationeel team op de werkvloer.
  • Sterke organisatorische vaardigheden met een proactieve, pragmatische en oplossingsgerichte instelling.
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden; je staat stevig in je schoenen en weet medewerkers te inspireren.
  • Goede beheersing van het Nederlands; aanvullende talenkennis (Frans/Engels) is een duidelijke meerwaarde.
