Om ons Compensation & Benefits team te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar een enthousiaste Payroll Officer die energie haalt uit een correcte en efficiënte loon- en personeelsadministratie.

Bij VIB werk je in een boeiende internationale omgeving met meer dan 70 nationaliteiten. Je komt terecht in een ervaren team dat samen instaat voor de loon- en personeelsadministratie van meer dan 900 wetenschappers en medewerkers, verspreid over verschillende VIB-onderzoekscentra.

Jouw rol

Als Payroll Officer ben jij de spilfiguur voor een vlekkeloze personeelsadministratie en loonverwerking:

  • Loonverwerking: Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de payroll van één of meerdere onderzoekscentra (ca. 150 medewerkers), met ondersteuning van ons sociaal secretariaat.
  • HR-administratie van A tot Z: Je beheert dossiers van onboarding tot offboarding, waaronder salarisvoorstellen, arbeidsovereenkomsten, sociale documenten en verlofaanvragen.
  • Internationale tewerkstelling: Je ondersteunt bij de administratieve processen rond internationale tewerkstelling zoals de aanvraag van Single Permits.
  • Advies en ondersteuning: Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor medewerkers rond payroll, extralegale voordelen en sociale wetgeving.
  • Samenwerking: Je werkt nauw samen met collega’s van het payrollteam en de HR-verantwoordelijken in onze onderzoekscentra.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt enkele jaren relevante ervaring binnen payroll. Ervaring met internationale tewerkstelling of arbeidsmigratie is een pluspunt.
  • Je bent servicegericht en bouwt graag duurzame relaties op met interne stakeholders. Je streeft ernaar de aan jou toegewezen onderzoekscentra zo goed mogelijk te ondersteunen.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig en neemt ownership over je eigen dossiers. Tegelijk draag je actief bij aan het team door collega’s te ondersteunen tijdens verlofperiodes en spring je graag bij wanneer nodig.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en met oog voor detail.
  • Je behoudt overzicht tijdens drukkere payrollperiodes en stelt de juiste prioriteiten.
  • Omwille van onze internationale context is het belangrijk dat je vlot kan communiceren in het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met courante MS Office-toepassingen, waaronder Excel.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Belgische sociale wetgeving en hebt zin om je kennis voortdurend uit te breiden.
