Payroll Representative enables a best-in-class employee experience through payroll knowledge & service delivery. This role will support the payroll delivery for Germany in the EMEAI region. The main objective of this role is to ensure that the employees are paid on time and accurately, in compliance with the respective country tax-legislation, agreed labor conditions, company policies and regulations. In this role, you will require understanding of key business drivers for your discipline and function. You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to German Payroll. Requires full proficiency gained through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience to perform a range of tasks under limited supervision. It is your responsibility to use technical experience, established practices, and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance impacts the quality of your own work and your team’s work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies What’s your job about? Delivering Payroll, Time & Absence, and Data Management in a productive and efficient manner. Processing information with confidentiality and with a high level of accuracy. Ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees and local authorities. Perform activities according to the Dow internal control & compliance framework. Address employee queries/cases on payroll related matters in alignment with our internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) What skills do you have? You have a Bachelor or Master's degree in HR, Finance, or related area. You bring a minimum of 2 years of payroll experience. Fluency in English & German (written & oral) is mandatory. Preferred Skills: Experience with MS Excel, Workday, ServiceNow & ADP Globalview payroll, SAP. Proficiency in any other European languages is an asset. high volume operational environments is required. Experience in internal controls through prior audit participation is preferred. Good problem solving, critical thinking skills and managing competing priorities.
