The posting

  • Als field service engineer ICT sta je in voor installaties, herstellingen, upgrades en modificaties van desktops/laptops en printers.
  • Je ontvangt je werkplanning daags voordien.
  • Je vertrekt elke morgen van thuis, haalt je wisselstukken en vervangmaterialen op in een lokaal magazijn in de regio en vertrekt vervolgens naar de eerste klant. Voor de organisatie van je rittenplan werk je nauw samen met de dispatcher(s). Je werkt bij voorkeur in je eigen regio, maar verplaatsingen naar nabije regio's zijn niet uitgesloten.
  • De functie is vooral hardware gericht, een goede kennis van Windows Operating Systems en netwerking is daarbij uiteraard nodig. Je lost eenvoudige software configuratie problemen op. Daarbij maak je backups en/of restores van of naar de server.
  • Ervaring, of minstens een grote interesse in het onderhouden en herstellen van printers is een voordeel.
  • Aan de hand van de informatie die je meekrijgt van je collega's die reeds een eerste telefonische foutdiagnose met de gebruiker uitgevoerd hebben, kan je snel en efficiënt de nodige actie ondernemen.
  • Daarnaast dien je ook de nodige administratie uit te voeren voor het up-to-date houden van je voorraad wisselstukken en change parts.
  • Je wordt begeleid door een ervaren Project Leider, en gestuurd door een centrale dispatch.
  • Certificering bij DELL, HP of LENOVO is een grote pro.
  • De ideale kandidaat woont dicht bij Vilvoorde
