Onze leerlingpopulatie is divers en weerspiegelt de kenmerken van de regio. Leerlingen verschillen in achtergrond, talenten, ambities en startniveau. Wij combineren een warme en veilige leeromgeving met ambitieuze onderwijsdoelen. Sintermeertencollege is een school met ongeveer 1150 leerlingen. Over de functie Je werkzaamheden vinden plaats buiten de reguliere lessen in diverse ruimtes waar leerlingen terechtkunnen voor extra pedagogische ondersteuning. Als pedagogisch medewerker begeleid je leerlingen die behoefte hebben aan aanvullende pedagogische ondersteuning, onder andere op de maatwerkplek of in het resetlokaal. Daarnaast ondersteun en coach je mentoren en leerlingcoördinatoren bij de begeleiding van leerlingen met een extra pedagogische ondersteuningsvraag in PM1 en PM2. Je bent bereid een actieve bijdrage te leveren aan het onderwijsproces van deze leerlingen en werkt daarbij nauw samen met collega's, ouders en externe hulpverleners. De school verwacht van jou niet alleen inzet, betrokkenheid, creativiteit en vakmanschap, maar ook een resultaatgerichte werkwijze waarbij de ontwikkeling en het welzijn van de leerling centraal staan.
