The posting

Als penitentiair bewakingsassistent draag je bij aan een veilige en menselijke omgeving in de gevangenis. Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor gedetineerden en speelt een belangrijke rol in hun terugkeer naar de samenleving.

Wat ga je doen?

Je begeleidt gedetineerden van hun aankomst tot hun vrijlating. Wanneer zij vragen hebben of een luisterend oor nodig hebben, kunnen ze bij jou terecht. Je zorgt ervoor dat ze bij de juiste persoon komen als je zelf niet kunt helpen.

  • Je observeert en begeleidt bezoek, wandelingen en andere activiteiten
  • Je houdt toezicht bij bijzondere activiteiten van bepaalde groepen gedetineerden
  • Je helpt collega's snel bij crisismomenten
  • Je controleert de toegang van medewerkers, bezoekers en gedetineerden
  • Je fouilleert gedetineerden en controleert verblijfsruimtes
  • Je rapporteert verdachte gebeurtenissen en inbreuken
  • Je bedient oproep- en camerasystemen en elektrische deuren

Praktisch

Er zijn meerdere plaatsen beschikbaar in de regio Kempen, verdeeld over de gevangenissen van Merksplas, Hoogstraten, Wortel en Turnhout.

Selectieprocedure

De procedure bestaat uit:

  1. Een screening van je diploma
  2. Een computergestuurde test plus interview in gevangenis van Merksplas of in hoofdkantoor van FOD Justitie in Brussel

Solliciteren

Solliciteer online via je persoonlijke account op werkenvoor.be voor 26 februari 2027. Upload je diploma en vul je online cv volledig in. Je moet binnen 15 dagen na sollicitatie een testmoment kiezen.

Let op: het gaat om een versnelde procedure. Hierbij vinden de testen doorlopend plaats en worden de beschikbare plaatsen ingevuld wanneer mensen slagen voor selectie. Wacht dus niet tot het einde om te solliciteren.

  • Kennis van andere talen en culturen is een pluspunt, net zoals kennis van kantoorsoftware

* Je kan de instapkaart behalen door deel te nemen en te slagen voor selectie ANG26150 (inschrijven is mogelijk tot 28/2/2027).
