Dat doen we al sinds 2010 met en voor steeds meer Utrechters. Naast een flink aantal leden hebben we een toegewijd team dat zich met allerlei onderwerpen bezighoudt: zonnevelden, windmolens, buurtaanpakken voor isolatie, mini-warmtenetten, we helpen huurders met energiezuinigheid, VvE's met zonnepanelen/batterijen en we zorgen voor Buurtstroomprojecten. Via Energie-U zijn overal in de stad Energieambassadeurs actief, voor velen zijn zij het gezicht van Energie-U. Wij steunen bewoners-initiatieven actief met advies, ons netwerk, gratis workshops en meer. We delen ervaringen tijdens onze bijeenkomsten met andere initiatieven, samen staan we sterk en komen we verder! Het bestuur Het bestuur is eindverantwoordelijke voor de financiële en inhoudelijke zaken, zoals de begroting en de opzet van nieuwe projecten. De dagelijkse leiding van de organisatie ligt bij de directeur. We hebben een goede samenwerking met de gemeente Utrecht die ons de nodige opdrachten verleent op het gebied van verduurzaming van de stad. Het bestuur bestaat formeel uit vijf bestuurszetels: voorzitter, secretaris, penningmeester en twee algemene bestuursleden. Nu zijn wij op zoek naar een betrokken en deskundige penningmeester en algemeen bestuursleden om het bestuur te versterken. De penningmeester zat aan het einde van zijn termijn en heeft een gezonde organisatie achtergelaten.
