The posting

Heb jij een groot hart voor kinderen, wil jij werken in een huiselijke omgeving en kan jij je nog twee of meer namiddagen per week vrijmaken? Lees dan zeker verder! Voor een warm gezin in Assenede zoeken we een betrokken en zorgzame persoonlijke assistent.

Je ondersteunt hierbij twee kinderen met het syndroom van Down die baat hebben aan extra begeleiding en structuur na schooltijd.

Wat houdt de ondersteuning in?

Je sluit aan bij het gezin tijdens de naschoolse momenten en helpt mee in het dagelijkse ritme. Concreet kan dit gaan over:

  • samen spelen en haar stimuleren in haar ontwikkeling
  • ondersteuning bij eetmomenten
  • helpen bij het zindelijkheidsproces
  • begeleiden bij badmoment, omkleden en bedtijd (zoals een verhaaltje voorlezen)
  • huishoudelijke taken opnemen

Je werkt in een gezin met nog twee andere kinderen, dus het is belangrijk dat je je comfortabel voelt in een levendige en warme thuisomgeving.

Wanneer werk je?

2 of meerdere shiften, voornamelijk in de namiddag na school.

Woensdag kan dit vanaf 13u30

De uren zijn nog af te stemmen bij het begin van het schooljaar. Alsook de concrete dagen zijn in overleg.

1x maand een halve dag in het weekend

Tijdens schoolvakanties is er wat meer flexibiliteit en kunnen de uren uitgebreid worden.

  • Ervaring en/of opleiding in het omgaan met jonge kinderen met een beperking, waarbij je begrip toont voor hun behoeften.
  • Flexibiliteit en het vermogen om goed te functioneren in een drukke gezinssituatie met twee andere kinderen.
  • Respect voor bepaalde leermethodes en de bereidheid om het gezin te ondersteunen bij de ontwikkelingsstimulering van het kind.
  • Discretie, aangezien privacy van het gezin uiterst belangrijk is.
  • Bereidheid om een halve dag per maand in het weekend te werken, dit is bespreekbaar en wordt gewaardeerd.
  • Je hebt een rijbewijs en eigen auto.
