Ben jij iemand die voldoening haalt uit menselijk contact, graag een ander ondersteunt én op zoek is naar betekenisvol werk in een huiselijke sfeer? Dan is deze vacature misschien iets voor jou.

Voor een sympathieke en zelfstandige man van zestig uit het centrum van Geel zoeken wij dringend een persoonlijk assistent(e) om zijn huidige assistent te vervangen. Hij leeft sinds 1980 met een quadriplegie en maakt gebruik van een elektrische rolstoel. Ondanks zijn beperking is hij nog steeds actief als zelfstandige en kijkt hij ernaar uit om samen te werken met een nieuwe assistent(e) die zijn dagen mee vorm wil geven.

Als persoonlijk assistent(e) bied je ondersteuning in zowel de dagelijkse zorg als in de praktische zaken van het huishouden. Je takenpakket is gevarieerd en mensgericht:

  • Helpen bij algemene dagelijkse zorg
  • Assisteren van de verpleging, zoals bij transfers vanuit de rolstoel
  • Maaltijden klaarmaken en helpen bij het eten
  • Vaatwas en was verzorgen
  • Ondersteuning bij vrijetijdsbesteding

Je komt terecht in een team van assistenten en werkt in een systeem van drie shiften (ochtend, middag, avond), waarbij je ook op zaterdag ingeschakeld kan worden. We zoeken iemand die vlot in deze planning meedraait, met de mogelijkheid om samen de werkuren af te stemmen.

Huidige shiften die ingevuld moeten worden:

Maandag t.e.m. vrijdag:

  • Ochtend: 7u – 10u
  • Middag: 13u – 16u
  • Avond: 19u – 23u

Zaterdag:

  • Middag: 10u – 14u
  • Avond: 17u – 23u

Het aantal werkuren en concrete invulling is bespreekbaar met de budgethouder.

  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands
  • Je bent bereid te werken in een flexibel shiftsysteem, inclusief zaterdag
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B (er is een aangepaste wagen beschikbaar)
  • Je werkt graag in een huiselijke sfeer en kan goed omgaan met een lach én een traan
  • Ervaring met personen met een beperking is een plus, maar niet vereist
  • Je bent empathisch, betrouwbaar en hebt een gezonde portie verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel
