The posting

MPC Sint-Franciscus biedt in Vlaanderen en Brussel uitgebreide dienstverlening aan voor mensen met een verstandelijke beperking, zowel kinderen als (jong)volwassenen.

We zijn op zoek naar een Persoonlijk Assistent die instaat voor de assistentie en begeleiding van een kind met een verstandelijke beperking en autisme in de thuissituatie.

Je functie

  • Individueel ondersteunen van een kind met een verstandelijke beperking en autisme. Je biedt thuis ondersteuning bij o.a. de maaltijd, de verzorging en eventuele avondactiviteit.
  • De assistentie wordt gevraagd op maandag, donderdag en vrijdag van 16u30 tot 19u30, voor 9u/week (3x3u).
  • Je doet dit in nauw overleg en in samenwerking met de ouders van het kind.
  • Je bent in dienst van het MPC Sint-Franciscus, in functie van de ondersteuning van één bepaald kind die vanuit zijn of haar PAB georganiseerd wordt.
  • Je krijgt feedback van het Begeleidingsteam en van de ouders.

• Je bent gedreven, energiek, flexibel en creatief.

• Je hebt kennis van en inzicht in het functioneren van kinderen en jongeren met een verstandelijke beperking.

• Je hebt ervaring met het ondersteunen van kinderen/jongeren met een (meervoudige) beperking.

• Je kan zelfstandig werken.

• Je kan je aanpassen aan de verwachtingen van het kind en zijn ouders in de thuissituatie.

• Je kan vlot met de ouders communiceren en respecteert de privacy van het gezin.
