Ben jij empatisch, betrouwbaar en graag praktisch bezig? Als persoonlijk assistent ondersteun je een persoon met een fysieke beperking bij dagelijkse activiteiten en persoonlijke verzorging. Je combineert praktische hulp met gezellige momenten en zorgt zo mee voor meer zelfstandigheid en comfort. Je werkt op vaste of onderling afgesproken momenten.

Onze opdrachtgever, een vriendelijke budgethouder, heeft iemand nodig om hem te ondersteunen in zijn dagelijks leven. Ongeveer twintig jaar geleden begon hij problemen te ervaren met zijn motoriek, wat leidde tot moeilijkheden bij bepaalde handelingen. Na uitvoerig onderzoek werd vastgesteld dat hij lijdt aan een onbekende vorm van hersenziekte, gecombineerd met Parkinson. Hoewel de exacte aard van de ziekte nog steeds niet volledig begrepen is, is duidelijk dat het een degeneratieve aandoening is. Hierdoor verliest hij dagelijks hersencellen, wat resulteert in versnelde veroudering. Ondanks de uitdagingen slaagt hij erin zijn dagelijkse routine te handhaven, al valt hij af en toe in slaap, wat met zorg kan worden opgevangen.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

Als toegewijde assistent ben je verantwoordelijk voor verschillende taken die de budgethouder helpen zijn dag soepel te laten verlopen. Deze taken omvatten:

  • Samen genieten van een ijsje/drankje
  • Bijstaan bij computertaken
  • Assisteren bij toiletbezoeken, inclusief het vervangen van incontinentiemateriaal
  • Opruimen als er iets valt
  • Toezien op tijdige medicatie-inname

De budgethouder is afhankelijk van zijn rolstoel en je zorgt ervoor dat deze altijd beschikbaar is. Je kunt zijn auto gebruiken om je te verplaatsen, maar hiervoor dien je te beschikken over een rijbewijs B. We zijn op zoek naar een persoon die gedurende enkele dagen per week beschikbaar is.

Voor de job als persoonlijk assistent verwachten we het volgende van je:

  • Geldig rijbewijs B te hebben, omdat je de auto van de budgethouder zult gebruiken.
  • Je vindt het belangrijk om iets te betekenen voor iemand en doet dit met respect, geduld en een positieve ingesteldheid.
  • Verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel is cruciaal.
  • We zoeken flexibiliteit in beschikbaarheid, er zal een roterend schema zijn.
  • Je moet comfortabel zijn met persoonlijke verzorgingstaken.
  • Interesse in samenwerking is belangrijk, omdat je deel uitmaakt van een ondersteuningsteam voor de budgethouder.
  • Af en toe eens werken in het weekend is voor jou geen enkel probleem.
