Bij vzw Op Maat zijn we op zoek naar een persoonlijk assistent die mensen met een beperking ondersteunt in hun dagelijks leven. Dankzij jouw hulp kunnen zij hun leven op hun eigen manier vormgeven.

Wat verwachten we van jou? Geen specifiek diploma vereist. Ervaring is mooi meegenomen, maar motivatie en een positieve houding tellen het meest. We vragen een warme, respectvolle en flexibele aanpak, afgestemd op de noden van de persoon die je begeleidt.

Wie zijn onze klanten? We bieden persoonlijke assistentie aan mensen met een beperking in West-Vlaanderen — dit kan gaan om een mentale, fysieke, visuele of auditieve beperking, autisme of niet-aangeboren hersenletsel.

Specifieke vacature

We zoeken een rustige en geduldige persoonlijk assistent voor een jongen van 11 jaar met autisme. Hij functioneert op het niveau van een peuter en vertoont daarnaast pica-gedrag, wat een oplettende en kalmerende aanwezigheid vraagt.

De ondersteuning omvat hulp bij de verzorging (incontinentie), begeleiding tijdens de maaltijden en het samen doorbrengen van vrije tijd. De assistentie vindt vooral plaats in het weekend, ter ondersteuning van de ouders.

Ervaring met autisme is een pluspunt, maar zeker geen vereiste.

  • Je werkt graag met mensen en zorgt graag voor anderen.
  • Je kan je inleven in de situatie van de klant.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken. Je durft twijfels en problemen bespreken met je coach.
  • Je kan je goed mondeling uitdrukken in het Nederlands zodat je vlot kan samenwerken met je klant(en).
  • Je hebt een rijbewijs B en een wagen.
