Ben jij een warm, ondernemend, creatief persoon en niet snel uit je lood geslagen? Hou je van mensen en dieren en wil je écht het verschil maken? Dan zijn wij misschien op zoek naar jou!

Voor een jongeman met autismespectrumstoornis (ASS) zoeken we een betrouwbare, zelfstandige en enthousiaste persoonlijke assistent die hem ondersteunt in het dagelijks leven en helpt om zijn wereld stap voor stap groter te maken.

Wat ga je doen?

Je wordt een vertrouwd gezicht en ondersteunt hem onder andere bij:

  • huishoudelijke taken en leren poetsen;
  • koken en boodschappen doen;
  • wandelen met de honden en bewegen/sporten;
  • afspraken en activiteiten;
  • gezelschapsspellen, gamen en creatieve activiteiten;
  • Engels en Duits oefenen;
  • ontdekken van nieuwe hobby's, interesses en activiteiten.

Je helpt niet door alles over te nemen, maar door samen te doen, aan te moedigen en zelfstandigheid op te bouwen.

Naast het dagelijkse leven is er ruimte voor bijzondere uitstappen: een pretpark, festival, kerstmarkt of computerbeurs in Duitsland. Niet dagelijks, maar ongeveer één keer per jaar. Je hoeft geen festivalganger te zijn, maar je staat wel open voor iets nieuws en een beetje avontuur.

Je bent bereid om met je eigen wagen te rijden naar activiteiten. Je beschikt daarom over een geldig rijbewijs en voelt je comfortabel om, wanneer nodig, zelf te rijden met de persoon die je begeleidt.

De uitstappen worden op voorhand besproken. Wanneer zo'n uitstap buiten het gewone rooster valt, verwachten we de nodige flexibiliteit om het werkrooster in overleg tijdelijk aan te passen.

Waar kom je terecht?

Je komt terecht in een warm gezin met ouders, een zus, twee honden en drie vogels. De vogels vliegen regelmatig los door het huis. Ben je bang van dieren? Dan is deze job waarschijnlijk niets voor jou. Vind je dieren juist gezellig? Dan voel je je hier snel thuis.

Wat zijn jouw werkuren?

  • Maandag: 16.00 uur – 19.00 uur
  • Woensdag: 9.00 uur – 17.00 uur
  • Donderdag: 11.30 uur - 17.30 uur
  • Vrijdag: 9.00 uur - 17.00 uur

Samen goed voor een deeltijdse functie van 24 uur per week.

Deze uren zijn in principe de vaste basis en zullen meestal volgens bovenstaand rooster worden ingevuld. Flexibiliteit is wel belangrijk, omdat er af en toe een uitstap, activiteit of ander bijzonder moment gepland wordt dat buiten de gebruikelijke uren valt. In overleg kan het rooster dan tijdelijk aangepast worden.

Wie ben jij?

Je staat stevig in je schoenen, communiceert rustig en duidelijk en bent geduldig én duidelijk wanneer dat nodig is. Je bent betrouwbaar, zelfstandig, creatief, neemt initiatief en raakt niet snel overprikkeld. Ervaring met autisme is mooi meegenomen, maar de bereidheid om iemand écht te leren kennen vinden we belangrijker.

Je houdt van dieren, steekt graag de handen uit de mouwen en vindt het fijn om samen met iemand nieuwe mogelijkheden te ontdekken.

Omdat je binnen een gezin werkt, is het ook belangrijk dat je oog hebt voor de balans tussen broer en zus. Je voelt aan wanneer je nabijheid moet bieden, wanneer je wat meer afstand moet nemen en hoe je beide kinderen voldoende ruimte en aandacht kunt geven. Je begrijpt dat jouw aanwezigheid niet alleen invloed heeft op de persoon die je begeleidt, maar ook op de dynamiek binnen het gezin.
