Ben jij een geduldig, warm en positief persoon die graag werkt met kinderen? Heb je een hart voor mensen met een beperking en haal je voldoening uit kleine én grote overwinningen? Dan zijn wij op zoek naar jou!

Voor een lieve jongen van 7 jaar met een ontwikkelingsachterstand en een autismespectrumstoornis (ASS) zoeken we een betrokken persoonlijke assistent die hem en zijn gezin ondersteunt in het dagelijkse leven.

De jongen gaat overdag naar het buitengewoon onderwijs en een semi-internaat. Thuis heeft hij extra ondersteuning nodig, vooral rond de maaltijden. Door een ernstige voedingsproblematiek eet hij moeilijk vaste voeding. Daarom zoeken we iemand die met veel geduld, positieve aanmoediging en een rustige aanpak helpt om stap voor stap een gezond eetpatroon op te bouwen.

Je ondersteunt niet alleen de jongen, maar ook zijn ouders in het creëren van een vaste en haalbare routine rond de avondmaaltijd.

Na het eten is er natuurlijk ook tijd voor plezier! Samen spelen, een wandeling maken, naar de speeltuin gaan of een leuke activiteit bedenken: jouw creativiteit en enthousiasme maken het verschil.

  • Hij communiceert beperkt verbaal, maar maakt ook gebruik van SMOG-ondersteunde communicatie
  • Hij heeft veel nood aan structuur, geduld en positieve bevestiging

  • Je hebt veel geduld en doorzettingsvermogen om een kind met een ernstige voedingsproblematiek positief te begeleiden naar het eten van vaste voeding
  • Je kan motiveren en aanmoedigen zonder te forceren en creëert een rustige, veilige sfeer tijdens de maaltijden
  • Je ondersteunt ook de ouders in het uitbouwen en volhouden van een consequente eetroutine
  • Je bent respectvol, betrouwbaar en discreet
  • Je bent enthousiast, positief en neemt initiatief
  • Je benadert een kind met een beperking op een warme, volwassen en respectvolle manier
  • Je biedt structuur en kan duidelijke grenzen stellen wanneer nodig
  • Je bedenkt graag leuke activiteiten, zoals samen spelen, een wandeling maken of een uitstapje naar de speeltuin
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B en een eigen wagen
