Erasmus MC · Rotterdam Functie inhoud Als physician assistant ben je verantwoordelijk voor de pre en postprocedurele medische zorg van patiënten die een electieve cardiologische ingreep ondergaan. Je werkt zelfstandig binnen het medische behandeltraject en levert een belangrijke bijdrage aan de kwaliteit en continuïteit van de cardiologische zorgketen. Naast patiëntenzorg maak je deel uit van onderwijs- en onderzoeksactiviteiten binnen de afdeling. Op de unit Kort Verblijf worden patiënten voorbereid op en behandeld na ingrepen zoals coronairangiografie, renale denervatie, congenitale correcties, elektrofysiologische studies, ablaties en pacemaker of ICD implantaties. Daarnaast voer je zelfstandig cardioversies uit. Werkomgeving Je komt te werken binnen het Thoraxcentrum, waar de specialismen Cardiologie, Thoraxchirurgie en Longgeneeskunde samenkomen. Het Thoraxcentrum bestaat uit ruim 800 medewerkers. De unit Kort Verblijf bestaat uit 14 bewaakte bedden en 6 behandelstoelen en vormt een dynamische omgeving voor kortdurende klinische zorg en dagbehandelingen. De groep physician assistants en verpleegkundig specialisten opereert in hoge mate zelfsturend. De sectormanager kliniek is jouw leidinggevende en je werkt onder (op afstand aanwezige) medische supervisie van een interventiecardioloog of elektrofysioloog. Profiel - Je hebt de opleiding Master Physician Assistant afgerond en staat BIG geregistreerd als Physician Assistant. - Je werkt zorgvuldig, zelfstandig en communiceert helder met patiënten, collega's en medische specialisten. - Je kunt goed schakelen tussen solistisch werken en samenwerken binnen een groter behandelteam....
