Je werkt nauw samen met artsen en andere zorgprofessionals om de beste zorg te bieden aan onze cliënten. Heb jij de gedrevenheid -om samen met jouw team- de allerbeste oogzorg aan onze cliënten te bieden, zodat zij hun bezoeken en behandelingen als uiterst aangenaam ervaren? Hoe jij impact kunt maken als Physician Assistant Als Physician Assistant speel je een essentiële rol binnen een medisch specialisme en draag je direct bij aan de zorg voor onze patiënten. Je bent bevoegd om zelfstandig medische taken uit te voeren die normaal door een medisch specialist worden gedaan, zoals het stellen van diagnoses en het behandelen van patiënten. Je werkt onafhankelijk binnen je specialisme en maakt daarbij beslissingen die de kwaliteit van de zorg verbeteren. Tegelijkertijd werk je altijd in nauwe samenwerking met medisch specialisten, zodat je expertise maximaal effect heeft op het welzijn van onze patiënten. Wat ga je doen? - Het draaien van zelfstandige spreekuren, waarbij je oogheelkundig onderzoek verricht en op basis hiervan de diagnose vast stelt. Je stelt het behandelplan op en doet waar nodig een operatievoorstel aan de medisch specialist. Je schrijft recepten voor medicatie uit en geeft medische voorlichting aan patiënten - Het geven van intra-vitreale injecties en evalueert en bepaalt het medische beleid - Het uitvoeren van medische behandelingen zoals YAG nastaar, YAG PI, SLT en het verwijderen van een chalazion. Ook is het mogelijk om je verder te ontwikkelen op deze onderdelen. De medisch specialisten kunnen je hierin begeleiden - De administratieve afhandeling, het leveren van een bijdrage aan de kwalite...
