Als plaatwerker in de luchtvaarttechniek maak je deel uit van het basisonderhoudsteam. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het zelfstandig uitvoeren van diverse reparaties en modificaties aan vliegtuigen, zowel mechanisch als avionic. Je beoordeelt de aard van de schade, schat het benodigde herstel in en voert gespecialiseerde plaatwerkzaamheden uit volgens strikte richtlijnen. Op een gemiddelde werkdag start je met het doornemen van de onderhoudsplanning en de technische documentatie. Samen met je collega’s ga je aan de slag met het herstellen van vliegtuigonderdelen, het uitvoeren van structurele reparaties en het rapporteren van uitgevoerde werkzaamheden. Je werkt nauwkeurig en zorgt dat elk vliegtuig weer veilig omhoog kan. Wil jij werken aan de nieuwste vliegtuigen en jezelf blijven ontwikkelen binnen de luchtvaart? - Uitvoeren van basisreparaties, blend outs en verstevigingsreparaties

- Installatie en reparatie van vloerbalken en frames

- Structurele reparaties aan romp, stringers, doublers en triplers

- Verwijderen van corrosie en herstellen van afwerking

- Werken volgens SRM’s, RD, blauwdrukken, service bulletins, AD, EA en EO

- Evalueren van schade en inschatten van benodigde acties

- Afgeronde part-66 categorie B1/B2 basiskennis modules (minimaal 75% per module)

- Ervaring in een aviation MRO omgeving is een pré

- In staat technische documentatie te lezen en te interpreteren

- Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal in woord en schrift

- Je werkt nauwkeurig, bent klantgericht en proactief

- Teamspeler en bereid om incidenteel in het weekend of de avond te werken

- Bereidheid om soms te reizen
