OCI Nitrogen is een van de marktleiders op het gebied van stikstofmeststoffen in Europa en een van de grootste producenten van melamine wereldwijd. Daarnaast is OCI momenteel een van de weinige producenten van hernieuwbare (groene) ammoniak.

Wanneer je bij OCI aan de slag gaat, krijg je de kans om iedere dag het verschil te maken terwijl je aan je carrière bouwt. Bij OCI draag je bovendien bij aan een duurzame leefomgeving. Onze meststoffen zorgen er dagelijks voor dat er voedsel op tafel komt. Met onze melamine maken we duurzame producten mogelijk zoals tafels, stoelen, laminaat en auto’s. Je komt onze producten dagelijks tegen in het dagelijks leven, vaak zonder dat je het doorhebt!

Dat wij duurzaamheid belangrijk vinden, zie je ook terug in onze emissies. Wij investeren continu in de best beschikbare technieken om onze emissies waar mogelijk te minimaliseren. Dankzij deze investeringen behoren onze emissies tot de laagste in vergelijking met onze wereldwijde concurrenten. Recent hebben we ook AdBlue aan ons productportfolio toegevoegd. AdBlue is een oplossing die wordt gebruikt in dieselmotoren om schadelijke uitstoot van stikstofoxiden (NOx) te verminderen.

Wat ga je doen als Plant HSE Officer?

Als HSE Officer bij OCI Nitrogen ben je verantwoordelijk voor het opzetten van en adviseren over het beleid op het gebied van (proces)veiligheid, arbeidsomstandigheden en milieu. Je bent een belangrijke schakel in de ontwikkeling, implementatie en borging van het HSE-beleid en draagt actief bij aan de continue verbetering van de HSE-cultuur.

In deze zelfstandige functie houd je je bezig met het creëren van bewustzijn rondom veilig werken binnen de organisatie, zowel op het gebied van persoonlijke veiligheid als procesveiligheid. Je voert risicoanalyses uit, identificeert potentiële gevaren en ontwikkelt procedures om deze risico’s te minimaliseren. Daarnaast ben je betrokken bij het opstellen en verzorgen van trainingen voor medewerkers op het gebied van veiligheid en gezondheid.

Je fungeert als eerste aanspreekpunt voor HSE-gerelateerde vraagstukken en ziet erop toe dat wordt voldaan aan alle relevante wet- en regelgeving.

In deze veelzijdige dagdienstfunctie maak je deel uit van een HSEQ-team dat ondersteuning biedt aan drie plant units. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de HSEQ Manager.

Jij herkent jezelf in het volgende

  • Een afgeronde hbo-opleiding in een relevante richting, zoals HVK, Milieukunde, Veiligheidskunde of Chemische Technologie
  • Bij voorkeur ervaring als operator binnen een chemische productieomgeving
  • Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie, bij voorkeur binnen de chemische industrie
  • Grondige kennis van relevante wet- en regelgeving op het gebied van veiligheid, gezondheid en milieu
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om effectief samen te werken
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden en oog voor detail
