Functie

Als Plant Manager ben jij de spil tussen het strategische beleid en de dagelijkse werking. Je vertaalt de doelstellingen naar concrete acties op de werkvloer, met oog voor efficiëntie, kwaliteit en veiligheid. Op onze site in Zutendaal werken zo’n 100 productiemedewerkers, verdeeld over meerdere productiehallen met elk hun eigen specialisatie. Jij coördineert de verschillende verantwoordelijken en bent eindverantwoordelijk voor het vlot laten draaien van een complex en uitdagend productieproces.

Jouw functie

  • Aansturen & Optimaliseren: Je organiseert, plant en stuurt alle activiteiten aan. Je zoekt continu naar manieren om processen te verbeteren, kosten te optimaliseren en productiviteit te verhogen.
  • Mensgericht Leiderschap: Je coacht en ontwikkelt je team van leidinggevenden. Je bent duidelijk en direct, maar hebt ook oog voor het welzijn van je mensen en moedigt hen aan om het beste uit zichzelf te halen.
  • Technische Diepgang: Je spreekt de taal van de techniek, begrijpt machines en processen, en denkt mee met onderhoud en engineering.
  • Kwaliteit & Veiligheid: Je waakt over de naleving van alle veiligheids- en kwaliteitsnormen als essentieel onderdeel van de operationele doelstellingen.
  • Helicopterview: Je blijft niet hangen in dagelijkse brandjes, maar ziet het grotere geheel, je legt verbanden, bepaalt prioriteiten en zorgt voor een vlotte informatiestroom door de organisatie

Profiel

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma en 10 à 15 jaar relevante ervaring in een leidinggevende functie binnen een industriële productieomgeving.
  • Je bent een geboren leider: toegankelijk, mensgericht en in staat om teams te inspireren en te motiveren.
  • Je bent operationeel sterk, pragmatisch en pakt problemen met daadkracht aan.
  • Technische processen en machines hebben geen geheimen voor jou. Affiniteit met Industrie 4.0 (de slimme fabriek met digitalisering, automatisering en data-analyse) is een grote plus.
  • Je hebt een sterke financiële en budgettaire feeling.
