The posting

Als Plant Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het efficiënt en veilig aansturen van de volledige operationele activiteiten binnen de productie- en distributieomgeving. Je focust op het optimaliseren van processen, digitalisering van workflows, het borgen van kwaliteit en veiligheid, en het coachen en motiveren van een team van ongeveer 30 medewerkers. Je speelt een sleutelrol in de verdere professionalisering en groei van de organisatie. Taken en verantwoordelijkheden: Procesoptimalisatie & digitalisatie

  • Analyseren, verbeteren en standaardiseren van productie- en logistieke processen.
  • Implementeren van lean-, 5S- en andere continue-verbeteringsmethodieken.
  • Initiëren en begeleiden van digitalisatieprojecten (bijv. ERP-optimalisaties, digitale werkorders, opmaken dashboard, automatisering).
  • Monitoren van KPI’s en rapporteren over operationele prestaties.

Teamleiding & organisatie

  • Dagelijkse aansturing van productie-, magazijn- en ondersteunende medewerkers (±30 personen).
  • Creëren van een positieve, veilige en prestatiegerichte werkcultuur.
  • Opstellen van personeelsplanning en organiseren van opleiding & ontwikkeling.
  • Coachen en ondersteunen van teamleads en sleutelfiguren in de operatie.

Kwaliteit & veiligheid

  • Waarborgen en verbeteren van veiligheidsprocedures, naleven van wettelijke normen en stimuleren van veiligheidsbewustzijn.
  • Uitwerken en opvolgen van kwaliteitsstandaarden en -controles.
  • Oplossen van operationele problemen en structurele verbeteracties opzetten.
  • Coördineren van audits en compliancetesten.

Operationeel beheer

  • Verantwoordelijk voor materiaalstromen, voorraadbeheer en optimale productiecapaciteit.
  • Samenwerken met R&D, sales, engineering en supply chain voor een vlotte end-to-end flow.
  • Beheren van budgetten en kostenefficiëntie binnen de operatie.
  • Bachelor of master opleiding
  • +5 jaar ervaring in een optimaliserende rol
  • Ervaring binnen consultancy is een sterke troef
  • Ervaring met digitalisatieprojecten
  • People-management skills én ervaring
  • Sterk in het opzetten van workflows en interne processen
