The posting

Onze opdrachtgever, te Hoboken, is reeds meer dan 75 jaar actief in de productie van plastieken doppen en sluitsystemen. Als internationale organisatie met ongeveer 600 werknemers en 7 fabrieken in Europa, werken zij steeds op maat van de klant en bieden zij een uitstekende service aan. Elk van deze fabrieken heeft zijn eigen specialiteit, waar de fabriek in Hoboken de focus legt op sluitingen gebruikt in de chemische en agro-chemische sector, maar ook kindveilige sluitingen. In dit type van de verpakkingswereld behoren zij tot de top 3 binnen Europa. De familiale sfeer en vlakke bedrijfsstructuur zorgen voor een sterk groepsgevoel onder de ongeveer 100 werknemers te Hoboken.

Ter versterking van het team zijn ze nu op zoek naar een gedreven Plant Quality Manager.

Jouw functie:

In deze sleutelrol ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit van de producten en kwaliteitsprocessen binnen de plant. Je waarborgt dat de producten en diensten niet alleen voldoen aan de verwachtingen van de klanten, maar deze consequent overtreffen.

Je vertaalt klantvereisten naar duidelijke specificaties en robuuste kwaliteitsstandaarden en zorgt voor een efficiënte en duurzame implementatie binnen de organisatie. Met jouw analytische aanpak, technisch inzicht en sterke focus op continue verbetering pak je kwaliteitsproblemen bij de kern aan en werk je structureel aan het voorkomen ervan.

Je neemt een leidende rol in kwaliteitsinitiatieven en werkt nauw samen met de diverse interne afdelingen. In deze functie rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de Plant Director.

De focus in deze functie ligt op kwaliteitsbeheer & continue verbetering. Een blik op jouw takenpakket:

  • Verantwoordelijk voor het waarborgen en continu verbeteren van de productkwaliteit, kwaliteitsprocessen en diensten.
  • Opvolgen en analyseren van interne en externe kwaliteitsproblemen en implementeren van corrigerende en preventieve maatregelen.
  • Beheer van klachten (klanten en leveranciers) en opvolging tot volledige afhandeling.
  • Organiseren en begeleiden van klantenaudits.
  • Uitvoeren van interne audits (o.a. BRC, kwaliteitsrondgangen).
  • Bewaken van kwaliteitsnormen, voedselveiligheid en naleving van procedures.
  • Vertalen van klantvereisten naar productspecificaties en instructies voor het kwaliteitsteam.
  • Ondersteunen bij introductie van nieuwe producten en projecten.
  • Opstellen van technische documentatie (TDS, DoC, lastenboeken, klantenvragenlijsten).
  • Aansturen, ontwikkelen en motiveren van het kwaliteitsteam (6 pers.).
  • Evalueren van prestaties en stimuleren van een cultuur van continu verbeteren.
  • Identificeren van opleidingsnoden en organiseren van trainingen.
  • Toezien op veiligheid, milieu en voedselveiligheid binnen de afdeling.
  • Bachelor of graduaat in kwaliteit, engineering of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Enkele jaren ervaring binnen een kwaliteitsomgeving (ISO/BRC-context).
  • Ervaring in een productiomgeving (bij voorkeur spuitgieten) is een plus.
  • Leidinggevende ervaring en sterke organisatorische vaardigheden.
  • Sterk in communicatie en stakeholdermanagement.
  • Talenkennis: Nederlands + goede kennis van Engels (mondeling als schriftelijk).
  • Kennis van HARA en wetgeving m.b.t. voedselveiligheid is een belangrijke troef.
