Als platformmanager GIS geef jij richting aan een platform met 13 bouwstenen en verbind je gebruikers, techniek en dienstverlening. Hoe jij bijdraagt Als platformmanager GIS vervul je een rol die sterk lijkt op die van product owner. Je bepaalt samen met klanten, gebruikers en het beheerteam welke ontwikkelingen de meeste waarde opleveren en vertaalt uiteenlopende belangen naar een duidelijke koers en haalbare prioriteiten. Je brengt klanten op één lijn, helpt het team sneller keuzes te maken en zet stappen richting cloud, automatisering, AI en meer selfservice. Meer dan de helft van je tijd werk je met het eigen beheerteam aan oplossingen voor vragen uit de organisatie. Het GIS platform bestaat uit 13 bouwstenen. Deze worden verdeeld tussen jou en je collega platform manager. Daarin ben je verantwoordelijk voor de samenhang, afhankelijkheden, prestaties en risico's van de bouwstenen binnen het GIS-platform. De uitdaging zit niet alleen in de techniek. Klanten hebben verschillende wensen, belangen en niveaus van kennis. Jij luistert, vraagt door en begrijpt wat er werkelijk nodig is. Vervolgens durf je keuzes te maken, leg je die helder uit en neem je betrokkenen met geduld en overtuigingskracht mee. Zo verhoog je het tempo van ontwikkeling en werk je toe naar een dienstverlening waarin klanten steeds meer zelfstandig kunnen.
