The posting

Bij een technisch advies- en engineeringorganisatie in Best werk je aan de modernisering van industriële verpakkingsmachines. Je richt je op de softwarekant van machine-upgrades: van het doorgronden van bestaande Modicon-programma's tot de migratie naar Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLC's. Ook het vervangen en uitbreiden van servosystemen maakt deel uit van de projecten. Je draagt stapsgewijs bij aan de vernieuwing van een machinepark met ongeveer 26 verpakkingsmachines, die onderdeel zijn van complete productielijnen. In de dagelijkse praktijk analyseer je PLC-code, onderzoek je storingen en test je softwareaanpassingen aan de machine. Je werkt nauw samen met electrical engineers en een ervaren senior software engineer die je begeleidt bij het leren kennen van de systemen. Zo verdiep je je kennis van HMI, motion control, industriële communicatie en de koppeling met SCADA en transportsystemen. Naarmate je de machines beter kent, krijg je meer verantwoordelijkheid. Functie-inhoud - Bestaande PLC-programma's analyseren en machinefuncties, sequenties en interlocks doorgronden - PLC-software debuggen en de achterliggende oorzaken van machinestoringen onderzoeken - Software aanpassen voor machine-upgrades en de migratie van Modicon naar Rockwell Allen-Bradley - HMI-functionaliteit afstemmen op gewijzigde PLC-software en machinebediening - Electrical engineers ondersteunen bij hardwarewijzigingen en de integratie met machinebesturing - Softwarewijzigingen testen en ondersteunen bij de inbedrijfstelling van aangepaste machines - Bijdragen aan de modernisering van servosystemen en de samenwerking tussen machines in productielijnen Functie-eisen - Je hebt een hbo-werk- en -denkniveau en een goede basis in industriële automatisering - Je hebt ervaring met PLC-programmering, troubleshooting en het lezen van bestaande PLC-code - Je begrijpt PLC-logica, sequenties, I/O en interlocks en hebt enige ervaring met HMI-systemen - Je onderzoekt storingen gestructureerd en werkt waar nodig..
