Wij zijn op zoek naar een PLC / Automation Software Engineer die ons team komt versterken en helpt bij het moderniseren en verbeteren van een machinepark met industriële verpakkingsmachines. Dit is een mooie kans voor een engineer met een goede basis in PLC-software en industriële automatisering die zich verder wil ontwikkelen in een praktische, hands-on werkomgeving. Je hoeft niet vanaf dag één alles te weten. Je werkt nauw samen met een ervaren senior software engineer die je helpt om onze machines, systemen en werkwijze te leren kennen. Wat ga je doen als PLC / Automation software engineer? Onze verpakkingsmachines worden stapsgewijs gemoderniseerd. Dit omvat onder andere de migratie van verouderde Modicon PLC's naar moderne Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLC's en het vervangen en uitbreiden van servosystemen. Jouw belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheid binnen deze projecten ligt aan de softwarekant. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Werken met bestaande PLC-programma's en begrijpen hoe de software van de machines functioneert; - PLC-software debuggen en storingen oplossen wanneer zich problemen voordoen; - Softwareaanpassingen uitvoeren voor machine-upgrades en nieuwe functionaliteiten; - Werken met Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLC's en je kennis van dit platform verder ontwikkelen; - Werken met HMI-systemen en begrijpen hoe de HMI, PLC en machine met elkaar samenwerken; - Ondersteunen bij het in bedrijf stellen van machines na hardware- en softwareaanpassingen; - Machineproblemen systematisch onderzoeken en de achterliggende oorzaak identificeren; - Samenwerken met electrical engineers tijdens machine-upgrades en de benodigde softwareondersteuning bieden om de machine weer operati...
