Als Automation Engineer speel je een centrale rol bij de (her)indienstname van installaties en zorg je ervoor dat de techniek achter de indrukwekkende infrastructuur feilloos blijft werken.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je analyseert en optimaliseert de sturingsprogramma's van kranen en carriers om de performantie te verhogen.
  • Je biedt tweedelijns support aan de onderhoudsploegen bij hardnekkige automatiseringsstoringen.
  • Je schrijft procedures en technische handleidingen uit voor een uniforme werkwijze.
  • Je leidt de oplevering van nieuwe projecten aan de hand van gestructureerde testplannen.
  • Je adviseert over de integratie van nieuwe sensoren, detectiesystemen en SPS-analyzers.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met diverse interne afdelingen om de automatisatiestandaarden te bewaken.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je bent Industrieel Ingenieur of Bachelor Automatisatie (of beschikt over minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring).
  • Een sterke technische basis in automatisering, aangevuld met een gezonde dosis praktijkervaring.
  • Kennis van diverse PLC-omgevingen en affiniteit met zware machine-architectuur (affiniteit met kranen is een troef).
  • Je kunt zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband opereren en bent vlot in communicatie.
  • Je beschikt over een goed ruimtelijk inzicht en een doorgedreven PC-kennis (Office-pakketten).
  • Je bent bereid om incidenteel in het weekend te werken bij kritieke projectfases of onderhoudsstops.
