Als PLC Software Engineer ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen, programmeren en implementeren van besturingssoftware voor geavanceerde productiemachines en geautomatiseerde systemen. Je werkt aan uitdagende projecten waarbij je van concept tot realisatie betrokken bent bij het volledige engineeringproces. Je programmeert PLC-systemen, configureert HMI-schermen en zorgt ervoor dat de machines optimaal functioneren volgens de specificaties van de klant. Daarnaast test en optimaliseer je de software, voer je inbedrijfstellingen uit en train je operators in het gebruik van de systemen. Jouw werkzaamheden omvatten: - Ontwerpen en programmeren van PLC-software voor maatwerk machines en productielijnen; - Ontwikkelen van gebruiksvriendelijke HMI-applicaties en visualisaties; - Uitvoeren van software testen, simulaties en inbedrijfstellingen bij klanten; - Analyseren en oplossen van complexe technische storingen en optimalisatievraagstukken; - Samenwerken met mechanical engineers, elektrotechnici en projectleiders; - Documenteren van software en opstellen van technische handleidingen.

Je krijgt de ruimte om je vakmanschap verder te ontwikkelen door middel van opleidingen en trainingen in de nieuwste besturingstechnieken. Er zijn concrete doorgroeimogelijkheden naar bijvoorbeeld Lead Software Engineer of Technical Project Manager. Je kunt je specialiseren in specifieke industriële toepassingen of je verbreden richting robotica en motion control.
